Want complete consumer data, but ethically sourced?
Whether you’re a programmer, developer, or technical writer, software documentation is either something you use regularly or create in collaboration with others. Join DISQO’s Senior Technical Writer, Falon Darville, at Write the Docs 2021 (WTD) as she speaks about her process in building documentation for a quickly scaling technology organization.
WTD is a three-day event where engineers, writers, managers, designers, and developers come together to discuss the art and science of documentation in the software industry. Hosted virtually, this event will take place from April 25th to the 27th.
During her presentation, Falon will explore:
- Finding comfort with incompleteness
- How to lead through influence versus authority
- Empowering others through onboarding and training
- Establishing key partnerships across an organization
- Finding your place as a technical writer in an organization filled with technologists and engineers
About Write the Docs
The Write the Docs conference covers any topic related to documentation in the software industry. Past talks have also covered such diverse topics as empathy, the history of math symbols, and using emoji to keep your users’ attention.
We all have things to learn, and there’s no better way than coming together in the same room and getting to know each other. The main presentation track takes place from April 26-27 (Monday and Tuesday) from 9am to 6pm. During the main event we also run an Unconference.
