Yannis Pavlidis leads DISQO’s data science and analytics team, ensuring that innovative data science methods and technologies are deployed within DISQO’s expanding application portfolio. Yanni’s background using advanced data science to improve customer experience and drive business results ensures that DISQO’s clients derive actionable and reliable consumer insights through our platform-based solutions.
Prior to DISQO, Yannis was Senior Director of Data Science, Walmart eCommerce. While at Walmart, he built and led data science teams across various divisions, including Sam’s Club, Walmart.com, Walmart Online Groceries and Walmart International. He joined Walmart in 2011, through the acquisition of OneRiot, where he was one of the early architects of the company’s real-time search engine and social media behavioral platform. Earlier, Yannis was co-founder of Personity, a presence and availability company, which was acquired by Openwave in 2002.
Yannis lives in Boulder, CO and in his free time enjoys time with his 2 daughters, running and traveling.
